Muscle Meals Direct offers you delicious food high in lean quality protein and served with either complex carbohydrates or vegetables. These meals are cooked for you by our experienced chefs and delivered to your local area.
You may order either 12, 18 or 24 meals for the week which are delivered frozen and cooked FRESH EVERY WEEK.
These meals are available at retailers across New South Wales, Victoria, Queensland, North Queensland, South Australia, Darwin & Western Australia. It’s easy to order just follow the links on this website to order and pay for your meals and they will be delivered locally to an outlet near you or direct to your door.
Standard meals include 200 grams of protein and 200 grams of carbohydrate or vegetables.
Lite meals are half this size at 100 grams of protein and 100 grams of carbohydrate or vegetables.
- Weight of protein and carbohydrates are measured after cooking.
All meals come with a complex carbohydrate and can be replaced with vegetables upon request (charges may occur).

Why eat Protein rich foods?
Protein is an essential nutrient in the diet. Proteins are needed to build connective tissue, cell membranes and muscle cells. Proteins are made up of various sequences of about 20 different amino acids. Eight of these amino acids are essential and must come from the diet.
It should be noted that not all proteins are the same and care should be taken to not only make sure that adequate protein is consumed but that the protein is high quality. The best dietary sources of low fat and high quality protein come from lean chicken, fish and lean red meat.
Exercise has a profound effect on muscle growth, which can occur only if muscle protein synthesis exceeds muscle protein breakdown; there must be a positive muscle protein balance. Resistance exercise improves muscle protein balance, but, in the absence of food intake, the balance remains negative which leads to muscle breakdown.
Athletes who participate in high intensity exercise or resistance training are required to consume larger amounts of protein daily than your average person to aid muscle recovery and repair.

How do the chefs cook your meals at Muscle Meals Direct?
Our meals are cooked fresh each week with some of the best local produce on the market. The meals are cooked to order weekly and this is why we have cut off days for orders so our chefs can cook the meals fresh as required each week. Our meals are all cooked using baking, steaming and boiling methods to ensure they are low fat and retain their fresh taste.
Once cooked, the food is Vacuum Sealed, chilled to about -5 degrees C which effectively freezes our meals almost instantly. This locks in the freshness and taste and ensures when reheated correctly the food tastes like it has just been made!
Why are the meals delivered to gyms or supplements stores?
There are two reasons why we have decided to deliver our meals to supplement shops and gyms right across the country.
- The first reason is to try and keep our customers educated and motivated to continue to lead a healthy and active lifestyle. By delivering to supplement stores and gyms we are keeping our customers in constant contact with fitness professionals who are able and willing to give advice and tips on different aspects of staying fit and healthy. These people have a wealth of knowledge of the importance of nutrition in relation to the aid of exercise and recovery and the way nutrition complements an individual’s health and wellbeing. All resellers of our Muscle Meals are on hand to give advice on training, diet and supplementation.
- The second reason is that by delivering our meals to drop off points close to you we are able to keep the price of our meals down to a minimum as we are not paying for couriers to home deliver to you. This means less expensive prices without compromising the quality of our Muscle Meals. The meals are cooked fresh weekly and blast chilled frozen to ensure this high quality is maintained.
Can i have my meals delivered straight to my door?
You most definitly can, Aswell as our Store pick up option we offer a home delivery service for our customers who have trouble picking their meals up from our allocated Gym, Supplement and Health food partners at the allocated times, we offer home delivery in Sydney (NSW), Brisbane (QLD), Melbourne (VIC) with Western Australia & Adelaide available before the end of 2015.
